First-Time Entry Yields Dual Awards with Only 30% Win Rate

Clouded Leopard Energy won both the 'Asia’s Best Employer Award' and the 'Sustainable Workplace Award' in its debut participation in HR Asia’s annual evaluation. In 2026, a total of 330 companies from Taiwan entered the competition, with only 97 emerging as winners, reflecting a win rate of less than 30% and underscoring the rigor and intensity of the selection process.

The HR Asia’s Best Employer Awards, organized by HR Asia magazine, employ an anonymous employee survey to assess organizations across multiple dimensions, including organizational culture, employee engagement, and team identification. Clouded Leopard Energy earned an average score of 4.65 out of 5 for its workplace sustainability initiatives, approximately 17% higher than the Asian market average. Employees rated the company’s efforts in promoting energy conservation, waste reduction, and renewable energy investments at 4.81, about 22% above the market average. The company also received a high score of 4.67 for integrating social responsibility into its business operations.

The company enhances employee care and retention through initiatives such as employee stock ownership trusts, healthcare programs, overseas staff travel, and family-friendly policies. As the company marks its tenth anniversary, it will remain focused on talent as its core, deepening diversity, equity, inclusion, and sustainable workplace practices to lay the foundation for the next phase of its business development.

Gender Equality Certified with Nearly Half of Workforce Being Women

Women constitute 48.2% of its workforce, while female directors account for 43%, highlighting strong female representation in the company’s decision-making processes. Additionally, the company has earned Taipei City’s Workplace Gender Equality Certification, further validating its efforts and achievements in promoting gender equality in the workplace.

The company stated that it will continue to advance its sustainability initiatives and, in response to the rapid development of AI and the energy sector, strengthen the cultivation of cross-disciplinary talent to address future industry challenges. By continuously improving the work environment and employee benefits, Clouded Leopard Energy aims to attract and retain top talent, collectively driving energy transition and sustainable development.
